Wesley Place Methodist Church, Alsager

For many years the busy congregation of Wesley Place Methodist Church in Alsager have talked about altering and remodelling the main entrance to provide a brighter and more open space in which to meet and greet before a service begins.

Finally, this vision has been realised. With architects Wood Goldstraw & Yorath, Property Committee Chairman David Crompton and Broadstaff’s construction team, works finally got underway.

The project was an interesting one, posing a number of challenges and involving works of a specialist nature. Collectively, we overcame these challenges and this made for a very enjoyable and rewarding project.

The official opening ceremony was a real celebration of this scheme and the congregation turned out in full to share this moment.

MP Fiona Bruce and Councillor Shirley Jones joined Reverend Peter Barber, Reverend Bill Anderson, David Crompton and Harriett Crompton at the official opening ceremony.
