Critchlow's Court, Church Lane, Blurton
The site was the former garden of a 19th century dwelling retained within the site and classified as a building of architectural interest. This intimate award winning development comprised of four detached dwellings sited in a private cul-de-sac location, each with individual design sympathetic to the original dwelling.
A significant number of mature trees were located in and around the development which required designed foundations incorporating appropriate ground heave precautions. The location of a brick culvert within the site also required special consideration with respect to foundation design.
