Safe, efficient practices are key to our way of working, and we are committed to continuous improvement in every aspect of what we do.
We are working towards ISO9001 for all processes, and have a quality manager responsible for ensuring that we are working to ISO9001 standards. As part of his role, he inspects work at key stages on site to identify any non-conformities and makes regular audits of procedures both on site and in the office.
Sub-contractors are carefully selected. Rather than taking a scatter gun approach, we use only people we know and trust.
Within the residential sector we are a registered contractor with both the NHBC and LABC warranty providers.
Health and Safety
We are CHAS accredited, giving you confidence that our core health and safety standards are compliant. In addition, all site managers have CITB Site Safety Management Training certification. We use monthly unscheduled site audits by independent consultants to monitor what’s happening on the ground. We then use feedback from the audits to update procedures where needed. Regular toolbox talks help us maintain and improve standards.
With sustainable materials being increasingly specified for projects, we are happy to work with clients to incorporate both established and innovative environmental approaches.
To improve our own practices, we are working with an environmental consultant towards ISO 14001 certification in environmental management.
We’re very much part of the Staffordshire community, employing local sub-contractors on local projects (as well as sponsoring the Leek under 13s Rugby team!).
On-site, our Considerate Constructor scheme membership means we always work to minimise the impact of work on the local community, talking to neighbours to keep them informed and to improve the image of the construction industry.
