Broadstaff is a Chartered Building Company with a strong portfolio of successful projects across diverse sectors. Established in 2008, we have become one of the most respected Staffordshire construction companies working on mid-size projects across the Midlands and North West.

We’ve built our business by putting clients at the centre of everything we do.

Success for us is about far more than delivering a building on time and on budget. It’s also about giving the client the best possible experience. And that means providing both technical competence and the soft skills of tact, flexibility and a genuine desire to help.

The directors are both professionally qualified, with a proven track record at senior management level across a variety of construction disciplines.

The founder of the company has over twenty years of experience in senior management positions within the construction industry.

David is completely focused on customer needs and expectations and has a reputation for a totally collaborative and non-adversarial approach. David is a construction professional who is very much a team player advising on design, budget and programme working with the client and designer to achieve their mutual aspirations.

David graduated from Staffordshire University in 1992 obtaining an Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying. On graduation he joined William Press before embarking on a career with a regional developer. In 1998, David established his own construction company, initially focusing on residential projects and later expanding into all sectors of construction. David is a Member of the CIOB and was instrumental in Broadstaff achieving Chartered Building Company status in December 2008.

Andrew is a Chartered Member of the RICS and CIOB and has in excess of 25 years’ experience at a senior commercial and operational level in a variety of sectors within the construction industry.

He joined Broadstaff at the beginning of 2014. Prior to joining Broadstaff, Andrew was a Director of Access Design and Engineering, a subsidiary of Hill and Smith Holdings PLC, who are an international group specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of infrastructure, building and construction products to global markets.

Having started his career as a Quantity Surveyor, Andrew has also developed extensive Project Management experience and most notably completed the handover of two major contracts for the design, manufacture and installation of motorway gantry systems just prior to joining Broadstaff.
